Brief update on our news and, um, non-news. We didn't get either house we've put offers on. Boo. The NEWS is that we found out the gender of the baby! I think it'll be a secret for as long as we can keep it a secret.
We're getting geared up to go to Bite of Las Vegas today - probably the last concert I'll be able to see for awhile, and definitely a good one with great food and a great line-up. Join us for Parachute, Uncle Kracker, Blue October, and Train!

Big News??
This could be a very big week for us. We have two offers in on houses and are just waiting to hear from the banks. AND, Friday we hope to find out our baby's gender! Yay! I started feeling what I think are little kicks this week.
It's been a long time since I've posted, but there's a good reason! Last Tuesday I had the most humiliating, horrifying, unpleasant doctor visit. I've pondered whether or not to go into it here, but right now I just want to pretend it never happened. I've spent the last week blocking it out. Then my parents drove out to visit us for the weekend. I loved seeing them, but I'm over the whole tour guide role I took on when I moved to a popular tourist destination. It's mentally exhausting to guess at what people would want to see/do/eat constantly. I come from a line of people-pleasers, and I fit right in. When our guests are too timid or indecisive or afraid of having an opinion that may not be popular to just say what they want, I STRESS OUT. But really, it was nice to see them.
